Welcome to the new AllGoodDrivers.com website.
AllGoodDrivers.com is proud to announce the launch of our new website. It's official launch was September 8, 2008, and we have been continually activating new features since then.
Since our inception in 2003 our goal has been to help make the roads a safer place for all users. We believe that offering quality courses and products, such as driver education, is an important part of that goal. However, our vision does not stop there. As driving educators with experience teaching over 20,000 people how to drive, we also know that we need to be a source of information and support to all those interested in being good drivers. In addition, we have learned that communicating with other drivers acts as a powerful tool for promoting safe driving. For this reason we have added online community features to our website so that our users can interact with each other in ways that will promote safe driving.
Our safe driving community forums will be the first tool for users to participate in this interactive way of learning. We will have forums dedicated to teen drivers, parents of teen drivers, driving instructors, first responders, and many others. These forums will allow individual to share stories, ask questions, and learn from others. A parent may decide to ask a question about how to teach parallel parking to his teen on our driving instructor's forum. A teen may go to the first responders forum and ask a question about how police officers are enforcing particular laws related to them. A teen may want to ask advice about the best driving school in his/her area, or teens may just want to talk to other teens about their experiences with behind the wheel training. Or maybe, driving instructors may want to discuss the challenges they face on a daily basis when teaching behind the wheel. The possibilities are endless. Watch for these and other great forums as they come online!
Our unique use of blogs is another wonderful community feature that will help to promote the safe driving cause. In addition to our own blog (which you are reading now) all of our users will be able to create their own safe driving blog. In a way, it's like social networking for the safe driving community. A public school teacher teaching driver education may want to create a class blog. Students in the class may need to respond to the blog as part of an assignment. Or the teacher may want each individual class member to create his/her own blog about how driving has effected his/her family's life. Then, they can use that to share these stories with the other individuals in the class. The Department of Justice may decide to allow an inmate convicted of vehicular homicide for killing his best friend while drunk driving to create a blog. The blog could detail how the event has changed the lives of so many individuals including the inmate, and it could then be used as an educational tool in classrooms across the country. Pictures will be able to be loaded to the blogs to increase the effectiveness of the stories. Once again, the possibilities are endless.
To our knowledge, this will be the first website to incorporate these wonderful online tools for these specific and important purposes. We are confident and excited about the potential for increased awareness in the topic of safe driving as a result of these tools. We will be promoting these features to as many prospective users as possible. Please follow along as we continue to develop these worthwhile features.
We have also added many new courses to our site, new safe-driving products, a links page for additional driving information, a driving tips page with a new driving tip each month, and a parent's page with a parent e-mail hot line for important questions. In the near future, we will be incorporating a directory of all the driving schools in the United States and Canada, so that users can search easily for qualified driving schools in their area. We will also add DMV and Department of Public Safety pages to help our users access important information in a more convenient manner.
One of the most exciting additions to our new website is our affiliation with the AllGoodDrivers Education Foundation. This Foundation was created by one of the co-founders of AllGoodDrivers.com for the sole purpose of offering scholarships to teens who are having difficulty affording behind the wheel training and classroom driver education. We our offering the use of our website to the foundation for the purpose of accepting online applications for scholarships, and for accepting donations to the foundation. We have also committed 5 percent of the profit from the AllGoodDrivers.com website to the foundation. Helping to educate new young drivers who might not otherwise be educated is a great way for us to continue to meet our goal of keeping the roads safe.
Thank you for reading about our new site. We hope that you will help us to promote safe driving by using these tools, and by being an advocate for safe driving within your own community. Please continue to visit our site to use these resources, and to keep up on the latest innovations in our very important industry.
Sincerely,
AllGoodDrivers.com
